Brief Overview on Format:
• 1 week Family Camp Aug 10-16
– Classes with Swami Prakashanandaji!
– Beautiful Ashram setting
– Island Satsang
– Mountains Retreat Satsang
– Visiting temples, nature spots, local music, traditions, beaches, and MUCH more!
• 3 week Kids/Youth Life-Skills Gurukul Camp for 9-14 year olds – Aug 10th-31st 2025.
Highlights:
– Ashram Living
– Daily Satsang with Swamiji and other Brahmacharis, and classes in Values, Sanskrit, Puja, Bhagavad Gita and Chanting
– A daily schedule full of fun camp activities
– Island excursions (beaches, forest, waterfalls)
– Healthy safe environment (Fresh fruits, playing outdoors, climbing trees etc.).
– Life-Skills training (last year’s camp included cooking, sewing, music, chocolate making from scratch, learning self sufficiency (cleaning, laundry) under loving chaperones).
Interested 15-17 year olds can apply to be volunteers.
All lodging and meals are included in the camp cost (airfare not included).
The ashram is spread over 30+ acres and contains several buildings including a state of the art school, and even a restaurant.
