Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK)
Chinmaya Yuva Kendra (CHYK), the youth wing of Chinmaya Mission was initiated by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda for young people from 18 to 28 years of age. He stressed on dynamic spirituality and gave CHYK an apt motto to sum up the direction of this wing:
Harnessing youth potential through dynamic spirituality.
The Yuva Kendra aims to bring to the fore the potential and latent talent in the youth, because sometimes they are not aware of what lies within them. It works to develop the important qualities of teamwork and right thinking. The youth evolve when they learn how to think is more significant then what to think.
What is pertinent is that youth have a higher goal. Success and joy follow, which rubs off on the family, the society and the nation.
