Hari Om,
Online study of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita in collaboration with Chinmaya Mission Trinidad and Tobago and St. Mary’s Village Temple is now scheduled for MONDAYS at 8:00p.m.
RATIONALE:
Arjuna, Commander in Chief of the Pandavas had become intellectually entangled in a web of confusion which left him shattered mentally and completely broken at all levels of his personality. He was incapable of presenting full mental awareness and alertness to a situation which demanded that he respond with an equanimous mind.
Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji had coined this as The Arjuna Disease, which today still resonates for us all as individuals and by extension the nation and the world at large.
Bhagavan Sri Krsna, the repository of causeless compassion, gave the panacea to resolve this mental delirium of Arjuna by a systematic means of reformation through teaching (upadesa) in this Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
Join us as THIS EVENING as we continue reflections on Chapter One of this most wonderful text.
